TURNING
TOWARD HOME
November. Brrr! Only a few hardy leaves remain, and
the hills have turned gray. It's harvest time for squirrels and grouse. Turkeys forage for nuts and berries. We
humans shiver against the wind. We flip up our collars and turn toward home.
It's good to have a home in November. No matter how
sufficient our summerselves we seek a shelter where there can be mellow light and savory aromas. We crave a warm corner
near the fire. Walnuts and apples delight.
In this brisk month of Saints and Thanksgiving, you always
have a home at our church! We promise to grant you a space where you will find friendship and conversation - or where
you can sit quietly and hear the Holy Sounds of God and God's People.
May you always feel warmth and comfort as you come in from
the cold! And may the blessings of this deep-brown month be amplified through the love of God in Christ, our Savior
